R Arumugam Chettiyar Sons was incepted in the year 1978, at Kangeyam (Tamil Nadu, India). We are one of the earliest manufacturer and supplier of oil products and cereals and products. The array of products we offer includes gingelly oil, coconut oil, coconut powder, cereals and pulses. All the products are manufactured using traditional methods under a clean and hygiene environment. We ensure that we produce only quality products and adhere to set standards in the industry and work using ethical business practices.
Business Profile
Shri. R. Arumugam Chettiar started the company for his six sons in the year 1978 at Kangayam. Under his able guidance his sons started the business with manufacturing of gingelly oil and marketed the oil as "Gopal" brand. Later the business was diversified into other products like coconut oil, coconut powder, cereals and pulses.
Our Enterprise
We are a family run organization. Initially the management was taken care by Mr.A.Subramaniam and Mr.A.Gopal. Later in the year 1986 Mr.R.N.Mohanasundaram and Mr.A.S.Ramesh joined the business. At present the management is guided under Mr.A.Arunachalam who has a vast experience in the edible oil industry and dairy industry for a period of over 6 decades. We have a good market presence in TamilNadu.
Quality Policy
We follow stringent quality standards during the time of procurement. We procure first grade sesame seeds with natural flavor and aroma. The sesame seeds are procured from the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, MadhyaPradesh, AndhraPradesh, Karnataka and TamilNadu. Our sesame oil is AGMARK certified.
