Shri. R. Arumugam Chettiar established an oil manufacturing unit in Kangayam, Tamil Nadu, as a family enterprise rooted in purpose.
First Product: Gingelly OilThe First Chapter
Gingelly oil was introduced under the "Gopal" brand, managed by Mr. A. Subramaniam and Mr. A. Gopal. The quality and consistency quickly built household trust across the region.
Growing the Range
Mr. R. N. Mohanasundaram and Mr. A. S. Ramesh joined the business, driving operational expansion. RAS grew into coconut oil, coconut powder, cereals, and pulses.
